Some people believe we are spirits experiencing the world as a human. If this is the case, I am definitely more spirit than human. When I look at a plant, an animal, a landscape, I see myself reflected. I see energy, spirits, souls, that are just experiencing the world like me, they are as much a part of me as me a part of them. My hope whilst experiencing the world as a human is to use my abilities to advocate for this, protect this.  Ever since I can remember I have always been creative, whether it was spending all my pocket money on Top Model books, (if you know, you know) or getting a sewing machine for my birthday and my auntie showing me how to sew a tote bag. Being older, finishing my studies at university, the word creative has more meaning to me than I knew possible. It's about using my very essence, my thoughts, my emotions, my values and making art.

With climate change my work is more relevant than ever. I will continue to advocate for nature and to do this creatively as long as my spirit remains within this human existence. I, myself, am excited to see what’s next, I hope you’ll follow this journey along with me.
